Passion or pain,

 

Tip of a pen, tip of a blade,

 

I brighten the wall or drip on the floor,

 

I am to be loved, but to be feared,

 

I am a balance of two,

 

Life and Death,

 

Good and evil,

 

 

I am Red

Good write really like it. Your third line,what about ALIVE BUT DEAD INSIDE or ALIVE BUT DEAD WITHIN.Just a suggestion:)
