You

You

I fell for You like a cruel joke on April First
like a Tree falls in the Forest and only You are there to hear
You caught Me 'fore I hit the Ground
     righted Me
with your opal Eyes You leveled Me
       your calming Words
       your precious Breaths -

my Thoughts? I cannot organize Them
They scatter about my tired Brain as I chase them
               mocking Me
They laugh as I fail to move on
because now You are gone and I can't cope
I suffer from eternal withdrawal for relapse I may not without You

Time passes and I try and try to move on though You won't let me
I see about that Girl I pondered all those Days
You notice this and find it out of line
You insist on telling Her You feel this way, why?
it was your f*****g decision.
am I delusioned? You tell Me jump then pull me back to the unforgiving Ground so cold
what did I do to deserve this fate?
from one Girl to the next in hopes of finding one You can't corrupt though time and time I fail

You sit and watch in peace with your Beau as my Castle crumbles to the ground
laughing as I work fervently to rebuild the Rooms that you have crashed into
He stoops to kiss your smugly grinning Face as You torment me from your secluded Safehaven

fine
                         I'm through
                                                          You win
You've convinced Me so thoroughly that You will ne'er let me at peace again
all for You are these three words:

                                              go f**k Yourself.
