DIARY

DIARY

A Poem by David Adedokun
"

Moments with my diary are so very exciting, stirring up before my very face events that are long gone. Even though some are bitter experiences, my diary provides me opportunity to laugh over them.

"

DIARY

On flipping back

I got caught in the pool of my past

A memory rack!

Staring through rewinds my thoughts fast

Dated clefts to be filled with ink

Events can stay uneroded

Down record's drum it sinks

...life logs imprinted

A treasure I wouldn't want to miss

In it are words I solely authored

A collection of valuables I wouldn't want to lease

Reference for years ahead

Here am I, in the pool of my past

Courtesy...flipping back

In an instant, a reminisce...it came so fast

My memory rack!

I feel the same when I read my diary. I liked the way you have written so accurately about it. Well done. I liked it.

I think that's a nice piece...sounds real. There is still need for a significant improvement especially in the area of expressing my views
