Obscurity

Obscurity

A Poem by Adela Muresan
"

About pain.

"

The song of my soul

echoes trough the gray corridors

of the mind,

as daemons take shape slowly

from the darkness of the

memory.

Living. Dying.

Their blood gives birth

to thousands of shadows

embracing me in thorns,

poisoned by the truth.

You talk as if the mind is a cage of some sort, and you are the only light and or key that is trying to escape. Along for the ride is the notion that you can not live with out your mind, so you try to erase the vivid emotions of escape, what life was in the free air, freedom. The demons represent your ill will and or dark intentions to erase these thoughts and vivid shards of memories but again as the light you cant allow it. Coming to the full realization of what is around you and what you have to live though, your eyes dim while looking at the time stained glass, aware that the light you shine will eventually fade and the daemons will have their way.

I love short poems with emotion. It flowed very nicely and yet left me feeling it was complete. Truth can be harsh, set you free, but it cal also cause doubt and hurt.. I enjoyed!

This good ... very good...
I like your presentation and your words grab me and hold me though I fight them... maybe I'm fighting the cold realization of their meaning ... I don't know but I stayed to the end because you wrote them well!

This is a good piece!

Thank you for entering it in my contest!

Very powerfull and well written poem. I often see my inner self as demons also. I also like the fact that it is short and easy to remember. I am performing poetry tonight to try and sell my book,I will recite this one and tell everyone this is something my friend Adela wrote.

How bad it is when trying to erase the very bad scenes of our life's theatre...
The more we fight them... The more it drowns and kept more deep... within us...

A peace of simple honesty...
Great Work...

So dark and moving, setting the tone both profound and emotional. I have tasted of such darkness, and you communicate it so well...

I'm listening to Keana Hopes at the same time reading your work, and man I tuned in,
It made me sad, and happy; I love corridors, =) mishel
