From a Dream

with a start i awoke.

all alone in the dark.

to myself i spoke.

my dreams so real,

love so strong,

all seems in a reel,

will i find him?

is this love true?

or are my chances dim?

is he already known?

or yet for me to meet?

could he really be my own?

will time allow me to find,

he that i desire,

the one in my mind?

my love will be his,

my heart true,

all will be given with a kiss.

the light will show our way.

our souls will be one.

no matter what those may say.

together we will be

as one for life and beyond.

they will see.

while i await for you to arrive,

until you make yourself known,

my dream will be my drive.
