White Light

White Light

A Poem by Aevum
"

Four stanzas

"
Light descends
On the rust of an age
White in the sea of black
Time stands still

For the sword that ends
A shield of gems
Ornaments of a warrior
Shall now and forever
Remain scratched and fade

Shadows close in
As the ages encompass
The whispering trees
Dark separating void

Shadows recede
As the white gold carcass
The realization
Glows with our dreams and hopes
