The night brought a horrific silence
Holding my breath
Trees quivered
A wind of death blew
Turned back

Well, I don´t know if I´m supposed to review the poems from the contest, but I´ll just go right ahead and do it. Your poem reminded of Poe and Lovecraft ( two writers whom I love very, very much). I could see myself in a forest, at night, alone and scared, sorrounded by silence and shuddering at the sound of howling wolves. Thumbs up :)
