Harry Potter

The boy who lived 

he's every child's gift

from countries it's love drifts 

a new craze in shift 

harry potter 

now 19 years later 

it only got sadder 

now that it's all over 

but it's love stays 

lasting many decades 

his life showcased 

like a child we raise

I was suppose to to compose a poem on hope but landed up composing on harry potter...

times.

My love for Harry Potter is borderline obsessive. The books and movies were/are a huge part of my life. Picking one up and reading it helped me get through some very tough times, and I still re-read the series every now and then. I was one of those people bawling their eyes out in the theater during the final movie, and I waited 4 hours or more at the front of the line for the midnight showing. I love this poem, and it's the first I've read about Harry Potter on here. So glad I read it.
