Fate of Man: Words from above

Fate of Man: Words from above

A Poem by ImperialTroll
"

The curse of Cassandra is back. However this time it's arrow is striking a man, who was able to communicate with creatures from another world, whom have learned the fate of mankind.

"
At the ethereal borders of dawn
Where realms and presences collide
A message is sent in an aerial dream
Words from an empire among the veils
Of fire and divine beams
Kings of the hidden spheres
Spoke to the wisest of fools
Words from dying elders
Who once sat among the stars
Harking the speech of angels
Before the creation of man.

"In a thousand aeon and moon
A son of dust shall rise
Two faces he shall bear;
wisdom and destruction
His descendants as he was
Would bring the doom of all
Like the universe and constellations
Had witnessed once before
In their time of ultimate lore
They shall forget the grand master
And in return they shall be forsaken
And their deeds shall bring fire
Upon the merciful spheres
In conflict and in greed
Their rich will scourge the earth
Releasing an iced spirit of death
Angels of the mighty north shall die
And their grace will cease to breathe
Equilibrium lost in waves
That sweeps the land clean
And a freezing dawn shall rise
Cleansing the sphere once again
Beware of their rising towers
And their brutal battle of tribes
For their ego shall build the gallows
Of their own sons and daughters
For years to come the land will grow silent
As new life hatches from nothing
And in silent graves of nature
Springs life to turn the wheel."

Thus spake the spirit of the old
Breathing burdens of mountain's weight
Upon the wisest of fools
Devastated and broken he wanders
Living Cassandra's nightmare.

the truth was not released to the mountains 'cause they would have perished under its weight. only man bore the truth, but man is what you describe him, "In conflict and in greed". so the truth is lost but to a wise few.
