Treble Talking

Treble Talking

A Poem by [deleted]

Thought I was a lonely stranger

Dancing through this life

Speaking a tongue all of my own

Track two, track six, track nine

Time and time again I tried

Never does another hear my mind

Blatant to me though it seems

Every feeling in the world

Has a song to amplify it

When I'm singing with the stanzas

There's no way I can deny it

Music speaks to me

You speak to me

Sweet melody wrapped around me

As you struck and strummed and sang

Guitar strings oscillating

When it hit me clear as day

The mix that you were plain'

Spoke the language of my soul

Hear the message each one holds

Every feeling in the world

Has a song to amplify it

When I'm singing with the stanzas

There's no way I can deny it

Music speaks to me

You speak to me

When you're singing for the masses

I know that they are just a ruse

Because all that you've been playing

Is a private interlude

Telling me you love me

With a million different notes

Complicated weaving of the truth unfolds

Every feeling in the world

Has a song to amplify it

When I'm singing with the stanzas

There's no way I can deny it

Music speaks to me

You speak to me
