Wolves

Wolves

A Poem by Reuben Porter
"

A poem about one of my favorite wild animals, wolves.

"

Wolves,
Guardians of the night,
The beast we fear and adore,
The protectors of the forest.

Wolves,
Symbols of ferocity,
The life of the woods itself,
A weapon and a tool.

Wolves,
They have taught us so much,
They became our friends,
We owe them our existence.

Wolves,
The rustle in the shadow,
The hunter in the black,
The warrior of an ancient times,

Before us humans,
Committed our crimes.

Man I had to read this one!
Wolves are the most respected animals in my symbolic world!

Well done, well defined and straight to the catch, loved it also
