Lost In A Dream

A poem about what I dream about, a fantasy world full of adventure

These four walls are my prison cell
that slowly takes my sanity.
My mind is my salvation
my calming fantasy.

Each day, I sit within my room
lost inside my dreams,
hiding in the only place
that seems to set me free.

A place where all can happen,
I can sail the stormy seas,
adventure all across the land,
and fight all enemies.

A place where armies battle
in the old mediaeval ways,
where soldiers march with sword and spear
and magics in the frays.

A place where knights are honoured,
idolised in plays,
a place where I can go
to live out all my days.

Amen to that my friend. Sounds like a day in my life. I sit in my room and ponder what shoud happen next in my world, with my charecters, and thrust myself into th midst of that action. Wonderful the imagination we possess as humans isn't it? I find it astounding. Anyways tis poem struck home with me because i oftentimes find myself drifting into another world and battling dragons, trveling a world of my own creation! Great job on this, may your loveof fantasy continue in its strength!
