My Time With YouA Poem by Albert Freemanvacation poetryMy Time With You
My time with you was spent in the sun in the warmth of your smile in the feel of you in my arms
My time with you was spent on the road from the ride to Pensacola to meeting a new friend and her child and seeing the bond between mother and child
My time with you was spent on the road as we travelled together to the Casino's of Biloxi and seeing the joy on your face as we wondered from slot to slot
My time with you brought new and treasured memories, from the wild ride to New Orleans and the eye opening journey of seeing a city slowly rebuilding
My time with you here was never one wasted moment, from walking upon the Naval ship in Baton Rouge, to dining at the fantastic resteraunt we found
My time with you was well spent there, even though we shared some annoyance of a Little League tournament taking up all the hotel rooms within the city
My time with you on these road trips together will never be forgotten, always to be treasured while serving as a eternal fuel to share in more travels with you
My time with you is very dear to me I turn my eyes further south now to a continent down under and whisper upon the wind My time with you has just begun...
