cold starlight

cold starlight

A Poem by Aleksa

Music.

Spinning freedom,

Forward back and around.

Dancing

with

cold stars.

if anything holds us together

it is the endless shimmer of the ocean that goes to sleep

it is the sound that the wind makes when it touches your window.

touch the breeze,

forget where the sadness is planted

and dance with me, shall we?

for as long as the stars , the ocean, the cold foggy mornings and winter nights make sense,

we always will.

wow, you are terrific...amazing imagery...that whole dancing in the moonlight kind of thing...being one with nature and one with each other as a couple...

last two lines are the clincher...makes this go full circle...

Sounds good. Romance has its own language to convey the feelings to people so I guess, poetry helps it allot to walk overhead with redemption. Liked the choice of words.

"touch the breeze,
forget where the sadness is planted
and dance with me, shall we?"

These lines're seemed very fascinating to me. Enjoyed reading your art!

There is an innocent romance running through the lines of your poem. The imagery is very pretty. I liked this. Lydi**
