A Poem by Alessander

love a good person; find a job that doesn't make you dread waking up; read, walk, dance, attend museums and concerts; meditate, pray or deeply reflect; let go of the past: Dream. Laugh. Forgive.

So spot on. Letting go and forgiveness are so hard but so foundational to our happiness.
Opening the door for everything else to fall into place. Nice one Alessander

It's some excellent advice. But I wouldn't call it a poem. (you can call anything a poem, I'm just an a*****e)

Yeah, maybe not. Dont even know if there's a genre option for it here. Proverb? Adage? Meh.

Thxs for checking it out, HanuCakes.
Hi Alessander, I completely enjoyed this string of words! When I first looked at it I said to myself this is going to be poor, but I'm glad I read it and have scolded myself for almost disregarding this great piece of prose. The words are picked and placed carefully and the thoughts are genuine and concise. A very well done piece sir! I have learned a valuable lesson that is worth sharing here. Don't be cocky or dismissive. Read before you run! Thanks again
