Masked Stories

Masked Stories

A Poem by Lavi
"

Writing voices of stories in every mask.

"
Writing has always been my voice
For the words give me the choice
To take off the many masks I wear
Leaving me an outlet outside my despair

Anyone can see I'm no smooth-talker
If anything I'm just a sleepwalker
Lost in dreams only I can see
For the glimpses seen are rarely me

I'm just a lonesome poet writing away
Don't mind me as my emotions fall astray
I'll remain here with my sacred pen
Scribbling down these words again and again

There's a story made of every mask
Of a girl whose words held a heavy task

Thank you, you're very kind. It's my favorite stanza too. I'm not very good with endings .-.
