Only Human

Only Human

A Poem by Lavi

Life is too short to be pretend.

I've seen many lives gone astray
Seen them leaning towards cliche
Their longing for something more had given away
Now I'll be on my way

Don't tell anyone that I'm gone
I don't wish to be found by false pleading
All these burdens can't just walk-on
Not when their hearts are still bleeding

I cannot return a hero
This is a battle only they can win
Let their victories rise up from zero
Ending their wars is not a sin

Life is too short to be pretend
We're only human in the end

This poem is well-written and very professional. We are all human, and we make mistakes. Well done here.
