Awakening

Forget about yesterday, don’t think about tomorrow. Believe in today!

Such a positive vision I see

I perceive the next step undoubtedly

I am free of disease

You cure me of the toxic in me

 

Opening my eyes to a new world

Waking up from saddened dreams

I walk around in awe

Alive and well it seems

 

I am not flawless in any way

I am beautiful in every way

Finally I stopped running away

Finally the darkness fades away

Such a beautiful poem. I love how this poem express your feelings about how you are free from all things that are toxic to you because of this person. And how this poem express your self love for yourself by telling us that you are beautiful in every way which is what you see yourself and that you accept your flaws as a necessary part of yourself. To begin to love ourselves we must start by loving all the flaws and imperfections. We are complex creatures and this is a hard thing to do, but once you get past that and start embracing our situations and empower ourselves and others everything in life becomes a bit clearer.
