Lost, Forgotten, Found, Forgotten

Lost, Forgotten, Found, Forgotten

A Poem by Cpt. Alex Rover
"

Ever wonder what would happen if I spent a day watching Anime and listening to nightcore? Well, it's this:

"
You almost had me at hello
Then you opened your mouth to say hi
Well now I know
But I will still cry
Then you walked away
without kissing me goodbye
Last week, earlier, yesterday
So many times I cried
You said it was always me
I laughed, saying
"Now you're back here because you made her flee?"
I was smiling, Inside I was dying
His face burned red
No, he said,
his hands clenched
Yeah, that's what he said
Then he looked at me, eyes wide
Shocked, I watched for the first time
On his face, a tear slid down the side
So I gave him one last try

I promised myself to stop
"This time, it's his last shot"
The he took me out, to shop 'till I dropped
It was so much like before, I forgot
Then, one day I saw
A little red note
Crumpled, in his book of law
then out of the pages more notes came to float
"I knew it!"
My demon said
"Please don't be true"
To my angel I plead
In my right hand is this pen
In my left a knife
Ink on one, red on the other
I will tell myself she deserved it
I think You know the truth
