Falling Girl

Falling Girl

A Poem by Alexa Apothic Red

I'm worried if I hug her too tight
It could break her
She's falling
It could break her

Stumbling in pain
Something unexplainable under skin
I'd do everything to take this pain away
She's falling-it could break her

Diagnosed with some rare disease
I've never heard of
And google doesn't offer much else
I'm searching for answers

Don't know when this will end
Or how bad it could get
She just cries and cries
And everything could break her

i see this as bi-polar disorder or something similar...there are two of us---opposite moods and personalities...the strong and the fragile...she tries to coax her fragile persona to survive the pain and heartbreak she is suffering.
lots of tension in this poem.

Oh my! This doesn't sound like it could end well and my curiosity has the better of me. I'm hoping whatever and whoever this is about will see better times.

this sounds like a manic OCD with a dash of hypochondriasis, and I like the way it flows. I feel the energy and the paranoia (I suffer from OCD, so that part is easily relatable). My only comment is that in the negative, the phrase uses "less" not "more" ("google doesn't much LESS"). Other than that this is powerful and profound; simply brilliant! Well done!
