What is power ?

A contrast between how people view power as opposed to the true meaning

What is power ?

Lust
Feeling superior,
Telling another what to do.
You may think it's wrong at the moment,
But is it still stopping you?

Money
Some will rob,
Others will kill.
And you see nothing wrong with selling your soul to materialistic things,
Because you're so caught up in the thrill.

Fear
In order to gain that control,
You inflict this upon others.
They're scared of your capabilities
When little do they know it's all just a cover

Love
Finding that one person you want to be with, recieve the proper security and affection.
Sharing special moments with that person and still maintaining a real connection

Respect
Something you work for,
those triumphs you have achieved.
Honor enabled by others,
Not taken but received

Success
Creating light out of darkness,
Accomplishing your goals.
Being proud of what you've done,
Feeling content with your soul

Fear is learned,
respect is earned.
Money is power often believed,
sucess is dedication the real way to achieve.
Lust is temporary keeps you hyptnotized,
love remains will always keep you satisfied.

Society often let's desire get in the way of their conscience,
knowing it's a lose or lose.
you're in control of your decisions
so will you choose the side,
Or will the side choose you?
