Hot chocolate

Hot chocolate

A Story by Alexander Dueck
"

A story of how losing my crate of hot chocolate allowed me to see the value of other things we can give.

"

Leave little bits everywhere you go.
The van was getting cluttered. Things moved out to make a home under an oversized, then folded tarp, which was beneath the ratchet straps and hooks on the roof. There the blankets roomed with milk crate of hot chocolate powder that filled little Mason jars, which topped off the milk crate. It eventually sat in the parking lot at the Gate. Soon to be adopted by leagh. He used the jars for old screws. I was sad. I liked leaving little gifts everywhere I went. It was not too later said in passing by James after briefly confiding my feeling of loss *You can leave nice little gifts wherever you go. It doesn't have to be hotchocolate.* I agreed. It can be something you've done for someone. You done much good then. You've enjoyed the act,. You've revealed a positive feeling for someone as a reaction. Maybe wanting someone to know of your good deeds is asking for one back to you in itself. Be it a Thank-you, or having the person like you more, consciously or unconsciously
