Magnolia Trees

Magnolia Trees

A Poem by Alexis Rikke
"

A short nature themed poem.

"
Double-sided leaves sprouting in rich shades of
brown and green
cover tall budding trees.
Scented white flowers
bloom on the magnolias.
All the bees watch.

The bees carry nectar
to deliver to their hive
and mix sweet honey.
Man savors his honey,
which urges him to smile
and plant magnolia trees.
