Dead City

Dead City

A Poem by Analgesia

Dead city in the dead of night
Creaks like a casket overturning
Pale pallor cadaver moonlight
Lights up stiffs dressed up in mourning

Limo black tie party
Here to hear the deaf man dirge
Every movement lifeless
Reanimated and recomposed

Every where I see them
Dead city

I been digging all day in the living clay
I seen dead men smiling as they thrown away
I been staring all day at the grim and grave
Now I see dead man smiles on every face

Yeah every where I see them
Dead city.

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
