You’ll be the perfect parent

You’ll never have to raise your voice

Or respond with naught but love

 

When You have children of your own

They’ll compete in every sport

You’ll be the coach of all their teams

And they’ll always do their best

 

When You have children of your own

They’ll never whine or beg

They’ll respect your wishes all the time

With politeness as their rule

 

When You have children of your own

They’ll excel in school

They’ll abstain from drugs and alcohol

Because You’ll have taught them well

Please tell me how You knew

Before You had your lovely dears

Thanks for sharing, I like the way you presented the message of this piece, and many modern parents should probably read it.

The only thing I don't know about is the coaching and participating in every sport. Splice in perhaps, weekend outings and relaxing adventures.
