Do you like what you see

This girl looking back in the mirror

Is she turbulent rush in life's river

 

Will, I ever know who I am

or will I be just the same

I wish I knew the answer

for Life aint a game

 

I wake up everyday

feeling empty inside

My feelings, my heart

Sometimes wanna die

 

but I love too damn much

I get stepped on often

I am a doormat to wipe feelings

I'm a sponge to most men

 

Will naievity keep claiming me

will i ever grow up

for age is a number

Will it ever be enough

 

Happy birthday to me

I hope you like what you see

I dont really know if I do

to my ownself be true

idk.. really why I wrote this. I just looked in the mirror, and well, A bunch of confusion just kinda came up! I hope you like the poem
