3 Letter Word for Cure

3 Letter Word for Cure

A Poem by Alice Red

just so you know, i've got an old toolbox by my closet door.

hammers.  screwdrivers; phillips and flathead.

nails & washers.

i stuck some scotch tape, underneath my mattress.  superglue in my trunk.

there is always a needle and thread, in my breast pocket.

just so you know, i LIKE being alone.

this is a choice.  really.

lately i find myself doing a lot of wandering around my own ridiculous thought processes; picking clean my theories and checking my answers to the tests i cant really ever, retake.

self destruction, if you're one of those pessimists.

self improvement, if you're playing carelessly at that other end, of the spectrum.

but mostly, sometimes, it's really just a difficult leveled crossword to pass the time.

a PASSimist with a penchant;

"...& SKU check for the fasteners along the back wall, please!"

the inventory girl with the red hair, working in a hardware store & secretly loving to break things.

just so she can make them better.

I consider myself a personal fan of writing. i experiment with a lot of flash fiction, and for quite some time now i've steered clear of capitalizing words i don't deem fit. needless to say, my s.. more..
