Romantic Sonnet

Romantic Sonnet

A Poem by David Sarori

Your certainly proving complexity.

For none exist who are as wise and fair,

Such a combo brings much perplexity.

One who can cast the shadow from the mare,

Just from the spark of your abysmal eyes.

And of your voice, the sweetest honeydew,

Drives Apollo, and tells the sun to rise.

And when morning birds sing, they sing for you.

With hair that which makes Medusa jealous,

Through the cool breeze does your silk-like hair blow

Like an assassin's fluttering pelisse.

Through sun and rain or even harsh snow,

From Mount Everest to the deep Red Sea,

I will be there when ever you need me.
