Fall

Fall

A Poem by Star Cross
"

..

"

Let it all fall.
So everything can be anew,
Where regrets can't chase us
When everything is gone.

Let this be a lesson for all,
Momentary happiness will not satisfy us.
Stop pretending
When you can't even smile straight.
Hear your echoes
They tell you the truth.

Let's purify our hearts,
So that we can all see the reality.
We must not chase the possible dreams
But the impossible ones.
It is how we become who we are.

So let this be a lesson for all,
Anguish, anxiety, lust and envy
Let them all fall.
Momentary happiness will not satisfy us.

There is only one step between fantasy and reality.

I especially loved these lines:

"Let's purify our hearts,
So that we can all see the reality.
We must not chase the possible dreams
But the impossible ones.
It is how we become who we are."

Good work and thank you for submitting this to my "Keeping the Dream Alive" contest!

I really love the line "when you can't even smile straight". This is a great write, full of straight, simple wisdom.
