Falling through water

Falling through water

A Poem by Alison Snape
"

A poem about drowning

"
All by yourself,
Alone,
In the vast ocean,

Your deathbed.

Slowly falling backwards through the water,
Sinking,
Drowning,
Dying.

Even if you could scream no one would hear you,
But you can't,
You can't talk, breathe or see.

The darkness is getting closer now.
Everytime your lungs try for air you see the darkness,
It's coming for you.

Your minds gone blank now,
You can't move,
You can't think.

You don't even notice when the water swallows you completely,
When you die.
