God, Help Me Make It Home Safely

God, Help Me Make It Home Safely

A Poem by BlueEyedAngel

My poor Angel Baby
hanging on for safety,
As her mom drive's her on home
she wishes she was home alone.

She looks up towards heaven and begins to pray.
God, help me make it home in one piece today.

You know I only have nine lives
and today's not my day to die.
Whew! I made it home in one piece at last.
You try riding with her. It's not a blast.

Her speeding is just so wrong.
She's been doing it way too long.
It's not easy, but I'll try and watch her the best I can.
Do not know how much more of her driving I can stand.

Amen!

Poor cat! And no hands to take over the wheel. This was cute, being from the cat's POV. Now, if you think your cat is really thinking this,it's time to slow down!
