Appreciate what you have

Something everyone needs to learn at some point.

Doors and opportunities come and go

Sometimes you have to take something less 

To get more out of it 

But it's all worth it in the end

It doesn't matter that you didn't get the first choice

It matters that you were able to get any of your choices

So appreciate what you have

Treasure it and keep it sacred

You can't control life or others

Sometimes rolling with it is the best way to go

To see where life leads you

Or to see who it leads you to

People can surprise you

The more you get to know them

So wait a little while to see who they are

To learn their thoughts and fears

Sometimes only as peers

Learning to live with what you don't want

Is how people learn how to love

You have to make sacrifices 

For friends or family, there comes a cost

Being lost in your own world can tear relationships apart
