just trying to offer something fresh to others...though this style is anything but...I fooled around a bit with ee cummings in the 60's and 70's and other poets. This also allowed me to familiarize myself with the various poets and poetry through the centuries..pick and chose what I liked and try to find my own lyrical sense.

It originates from e.e. cummings....a poet from the 50's and 60's who changed the landscape of poetry, in my opinion. If you have never read him, you should take a peak... you won't be disappointed. Thank you Mr. Dunne for finding this and making it part of your day (in some small way)...and for your kind words.

Ahhh.. that was nice n unseen style... Though at first I was ":O" what n how its written..... But as I read along, I got in the grove of ur writing style.. Nice work :)

I agree with the simple part smile....in fact, I actually changed some lettering because I thought it was too complicated (discombobulated)...this one may be a little too over the top still...I wrote and posted two other poems "freedom" and "helpless" that I think are more "readable". I truly appreciate your feedback and insight. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.
I'm deciding if I will put the "interpretation" in the author's note" or let people suffer.

It's really not that difficult Sunni...come up with a 3,4, or 5 line poem...could be more or less, but to start...plus you don't want people to "struggle" (too long) to figure out what you're saying... then mix and match to see what works for your own eyesight....and voila...e.e. did much more than this but was known for this style...when I was in college, I was taken by his individualized expression and couldn't inhale enough of his works...good luck and thanks for your comments Sunni.
