It burst upon me

Horizontal rain
Cleanse the earth
Find fissures
Once thought sealed
Stand still traffic
Open pores
Enliven

Walking across the darkened parking lot last evening, I felt the sting of icy rain piercing the comfort of my fatigued forarm. Noticed the difference from the rain I wrote about.
