My Demons

My Demons

A Poem by Allison
"

The mind of a schizo.

"
Oh please!
Please let me be!

I want one night, one day,
I need to be free.

I'm suffocating, drowning,
oh god, I can't breathe!

Someone help me!
Someone beleive!

They're there, here...
everywhere,
making me bleed.

Razors slash,
shadows laugh,
as I scream.

excellent poem, good details are a plus. sometimes i start feeling exactly this way and i hate it. Your very good about getting people to understand the emotion your trying to convey :)

This poem is very dramatic and well written. There are so many things I can say about your poem. First, it is very descriptive. I think you can even run with what you have, but It definitely isn’t necessary. When I think of demons I think of supernatural, but in this case I don’t think that’s the kind of “demon” you mean, which puts a creative and interesting twist. It’s interesting to me also that you didn’t capitalize “god” which can lead a reader to think many things. I think this is a great poem and very private. Great job.
