Pear's Pride

Pear's Pride

A Poem by Alpris

the doctor hands
were the devil's

he gave me
my will
aqua red

when i was conceived
chose the people

for my
          life?

new life
  casted line

to tear
people's pink
coats off

saw beneath
ugly discoloured
                   flaps

they, who called
me a
         freak?

BUT they were
surprised

when i
fingered them

with the
      Pear

opened up
four sides

to tease
  widen
shred
  depressing
gash
  drip the
carcasses
    holy tears

and i
cried

tears of
          joy!

             i did it
              since 2002
             she was
    proud of me

always was
i am a product
of her
undiminished

                        .....care?
