So Far Far Away

I gaze at my outstretched hand in the middle of the night,
I close my eyes as your thoughts flow casually through my mind,
Your image forms in my mind, I blush at the mere thought of your sight,
I pull my hand back frustrated and these feelings I try to hide,

I forget that I shouldn't think so much about you,
I forget to not wait for your text messages all the time,
I forget to not fantasize so much about spending time with you,
I forget to not let these feelings overwhelm me,

You are so far far away, somewhere I can't reach,
You are someone I always want to be able to meet,
I dream of you even when I'm on my bed, fast asleep,
I wish I could always be beside you, I want to touch you,

I should stop but I can't stop longing for you,
We are so far apart, in distance and even in heart,
Please oh someone let me be good enough,
So that I can run to you and hold you with no guilt inside,

I wish this distance would go away from between us.
