something that just came to me.

In anticipation of what may come she steadies her heart. Closing her eyes she sits quietly Steeling her soul for the battle that is to come. All the tears have been shed, the time for pity and sorrows cast aside.

Ready your heart and your mind, the battle for your soul it comes and you shall be victorious!

Her eyes open, her hands lift as she gently traces the paint upon her cheeks. A smirk crosses her lips. Her weapon is chosen and up she springs at a run. A war cry heard for miles ensues.

It is time for war, it is time for VICTORY

Good start. But now I want to know why is the battle happening, who is this brave warrior and what has made her that way. These are all great questions because in a few short lines you have brought them up. But the true art of telling a story comes when you decide which of those questions you will answer and which you won't
