A Lost Breath

A Lost Breath

A Chapter by Ana Papaya

she was a baby's breath
                                      a    w h i s p e r
    that passed between hearts
   leaving gentle words
         that never formed a sentence
but left us dazzled
 by her presence

This is very breathtaking. Your ability to take something sad & mold it into a beautiful shape still continues to astound me.

Bev, thank you for the nice comment.
I'm not joking when I say that these are the saddest lines I've ever read. So well expressed. So many things pass through my mind when I read these, so many different scenarios where these words apply. For the writer, i know it can only be one, but for the reader it's so many more.

A very special write.

There are those precious memories, people, places -- a breath, we never forget, beautifully articulated in this short piece.
