a different end

a different end

A Chapter by Ana Papaya

it's all about the words
this is what starts and end wars

words of love and hate
felt as joy and pain

how might things have changed
if I used the right words
if I could go back again

to start from the beginning
and come to a different end

regret is the most difficult thing. at once it transfixes and traps us. Because what is done cannot be undone.

so very true that is :)
thanks so much for your words here
If is such a big word Ana, and words can and do end wars, but for some genetic defect of a reason, we get caught up in it so much that we sometimes aim the wrong words at the wrong people and only when they have been said and done, can we truly understand their devestation. Which in turn leads to more ifs.
Beautifully captured feeling we know all too well, unfortunately.
