Unearthing Life 7

Unearthing Life 7

A Poem by Anand Sehgal

It is not that I am always arrogant ,
Neither I am honest all the time.
My arrogance is effervescent during the most
honest moments of my life.

So how do we draw the fine line between assertiveness and arrogance? Perspectives vary and you can never come off as something equally from the viewpoints of different people. In the West, people will say that others will just have to accept you as you are. In the East, there is such a thing as saving face - for both parties. It's a balancing act, I believe.

Arrogance is but one way we reveal ourselves when afraid we are not enough. Love the thought of it being effervescent … a playful turn:)

I know exactly what you mean here !!!

Yes yes - do you think it is really arrogance ??

I believe it may be passion wrapped up in a ball of intensity making its mark on the world - you let the you the real you to shine through -

We must never ever allow that part of us to hide

I like this - well done !!

thanks so very much dear :) much love back :)

My arrogance surfaces when I see or hear something corrupt. I have a passive aggressive tendencies. The lie? Sometimes very useful.

Al

the most important part of our body is the back-bone. In every possible sense :)
i guess sometimes we just can't help being a bit arrogant...but i would like to think of it as confident.
