"Between Friends..."

"Between Friends..."

A Poem by Chris
"

a note on any scale you care to hear

"
Thursday thoughts...
Chilled fingertips.  Eyes gazing to the glass.  So many "voices" jostling to become distinct - heard... felt.  Known.  My mind is meandering all over the place... saw some people I hadn't touched in a while.  I'm breathing and thinking...
"Between Friends..."
"Hi  - Do you have" ...coffee... or tea now?  Have I caught you on the "run"?  Have a minute or a day?

Classes?  Thoughts?

I could share some
insights
but that takes time...
do you have any?
- to spare
listening
to where you aren't
or haven't been
or perhaps really are afterall
if you think on it.

Introspection
and before lunch
...who knew?

I find it interesting how you write. It makes your mind think because its not straightforward. Just like this one, you can get the entire picture from it but you have to think about it.

Never thought of that before. Hmmmmmm....
I read for enjoyment. I look for what moves me. Whether it be for good or bad. I want my read to invoke feeling and emotion. The uncertainty here brings a smile... a place I've been before, memories... Very nice.

You write for all of us perhaps, touching different places: empty cold.. empty lonely .. brim-full, brimming fuller. Would be good to share with others, exhange; feeling the mystery or sweet simplicity of another being. But there rarely seems to be time to stop, to feel, alone-ness bewilders, makes for more self-awareness in space. Perhaps. You always make me think, Chris. I always try to read between your lines. Yours is such acareful pen, you feel your words, need to share though never ask for appreciation or congratulation. Maybe you hope that somewhere, some time, someone will take your hand and say, 'Been near there, my friend

Sounds likes a seeker, seems to process everything pretty well. Good thing they aren't doing it before bed.... I like it.

Interesting approach and random, but focused. Seems to be the mind of a deep thinking persons in a snap shot. I like it.

Modern day encounters leave us touched but not often satisfied. Wonderful portrait, brought back fond memories of a coffee house in Spokane before Stsrbuck was more then an SF hero. A girl named Cherie who preferred skinny blond men. I tried to tell her she could convert but she thought I was being funny.

It is so easy to get caught up in the busy hustle of the day (or of life) and not to make time to connect with a friend or a loved one. Thanks for the reminder.
