"Listening To The Rain..."

"Listening To The Rain..."

A Poem by Chris
"

...we do that don't we...

"

We don't always know how we'll react to a "voice", a sound, thoughts …perceptions… or even a …now.

“Listening To The Rain…”

So many whispers echo behind the eyes,

wishes soft of future past

and tomorrow's never come -

and silly lil tears that burn

and meander round-and-around

and around -

a silence so vast

that the echoes…

the echoes …cry.

I was doing some work in Gulfsport Mississippi one time, I had never been there before. On the way into town I got this overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and sorrow and love all at the same time. Not sure why or where it came from. I had to pull over to the side of the road because I started bawling my eyes out. Still to this day not sure what the hell it was, I wasn't having any problems with family or relationship or work. This reminded me of that. Great piece of writing.

A wonderful poetry of life lived and echoes still living on inside our own hearts and minds and imprinted on our souls.

You're welcome anytime...coffee or tea?
Beautiful. Echoes past live on sometimes. And make us wonder.
I also wonder if tomorrow's a lil intentional echo of something apostrophetical or just a wondering echo of something only some see.:)
