The Death Paradox

The Death Paradox

A Poem by Andoux

Rapid Gunshots, here and there
Bombs blown up without a care
Poison spreading all around
Lives are claimed without a sound
Audible whistles, miles away
The toxic fear keeps souls at bay
As chaos creeps, the truth will yell,
"Life is finite! Hearts will fail!"
Sooner or later, what does it matter?
Both lungs can stop, a skull can shatter
Infinite ways to claim a life,
So what is it worth, this useless srife?
The selfish people, I'll point to them
All those who think their life's a gem
A precious thing, no money can buy
They fail to see, we all will die
