You've heard of grammar Nazis, but this tale's about a pirate. Whenever he heard bad grammar it would send him very irate. When the lookout yelled "Land ahead! We be not too far," The captain stomped his wooden peg and angrily responded "ARE!!"
I lost it the first time I heard this joke. I think putting it into poem form is very clever, and it was executed quite well. I rarely correct people's grammar, unless it's in writing form and it actually matters if it's grammatically correct. Otherwise, who cares?

I don't often correct grammar, but I can't say it doesn't annoy me. Basic things like 'your' vs 'you're' get me the most. lol. Glad you liked the poem Clifford. :)
I've turned RRs off for now because I'm really behind. I have 50 to do! Hope to get to them... eventually :)
