Unknown Smile and HopeA Poem by AnekaBPoetryThis is for my daughter Clementine Ailionora
4:39 awake.
And so are you. The night has brought you false memories of cells deleted. There you are As soon as I enter the room Having known I was at your disposal. Rainclouds flying faster Than your brain can switch From dream to reality And here comes thunder. So I hold you Feeling loved I cannot grasp that truth. As you re-invent your eye sight At the beauty of the lightening In the sky. The fear and the excitement Mixed and tangled Reading all your thoughts As if written on a chalk board. Obsolete children When the brain cells Turn universe. Obeying for no one But love from the stars. And she smiles. Then all else fades away As I rest my eyes on your Eyes. Sucking up life. Sucking on knowledge. And one single moment Turns on the light in my Alaskan mind. And everyone feels warm rain. Humidity dissolving. Their skin slightly cold, At the breeze flying by. And life goes on normal Microscopically. And her smile Becomes the God They all wish they could experience Every day. © 2011 AnekaBPoetry |
