Shivers

Shivers

A Poem by Angel Bird

Clouds had formed over night.

Haze pushed dreams out of sight.

Rain created puddles, and a river.

The world got a fever, and began to shiver.

Floods of tears soak infested soils.

Our global world terrified recoils.

Slowly beginning to 'think'

Why politicians and scientists saw it in 'pink'?!?

And even the deepest remorse,

Not at gun-point, nor by any force,

And neither the most honest felt sorrowfulness

Will ever bring back ...forever lost happiness...
