Stormy Seas.

We stand alone,
and we conquer -
the intimidating mountains that nobody dares to climb.

What are tears -
when you alone scream them out?
What are feelings -
when you alone express them,
and there is nobody to hear you out?

We journey alone,
and we ride -
those stormy seas that will swallow us whole.

What are words -
that are the knives to a person's flesh?
What are hearts -
that drown themselves in self doubt and hate,
and there is nobody to understand?

We sit alone,
and we voice out -
our empty silence that crumbles the noise.

And what of us,
as we go mad -
within a whirlwind of thoughts,
and the vengeful clouds that loom over -
that drag us into the stormy seas...
and bring us home.
