Mainly strings of thoughts

 

I am..

fist of fury and righteous rage

body of flesh and celestial sage.

I am roaring lion and peaceful lamb

I am.

 

dark passages

and shards of light

earthbound body with a mind in flight.

Odds and ends

I am.

 

I am , wrong and I am right

the shadow and the morning light.

The storm as well as the calm

I am.

 

I am everything and nothing at all

The answer to the question the lift from the fall.

 

I am whatever I have been and what I choose to be

this is me .

Brilliant!

I love the opposites (earthbound / flight, dark / light), the repitition throughout the work!

I have a soft spot for 'everything and nothing', it is in a couple of my pieces as an idea.....

Probably the best poem I've seen here yet...just fantastic! Not only are you comfortable with stating who/what you are, you're proud of it! Not to mention the powerful language and great ideas.

This poem made me smile, as one line in particular described myself (and certainly many of our friends here, too!)
