No matter how close you get...

Do you know what it's like,
To be so close,
And lose it all?

You claw,
And claw,
And claw your way
Out of the hole in the ground
That people put you into,
Just when the end is at your reach...
Someone kicks you back in.

All that hard work...
Gone
All those dreams of glory...
Gone
All that you've gained...
Gone

There's no describing what it's like,
To be so close,
Just to end up so far.

The pain,
The suffering,
The scars you've accumulated,
Yet only those who are insane,
Get back up and try.

Insane?
Means to do something over
And over
And over
Again
Hoping something will change.

Those that are insane,
Are truly the strongest.

Despite all the pain,
Despite all the loss,
Despite all the suffering,
They continue to try.

Someday,
Just someday...

Someone will be there,
At the top of the hole,
To help that person up...

Will you be that someone?
Or will you kick them back down?
